Is Neil deGrasse Tyson related to Mike Tyson?

Yes, they are actually related for some reason. Neil and Mike actually went to the same schools together. Before Mike Tyson became a wrestler, he actually was a scientist at Harvard University. Neil deGrasse Tyson also was an a amazing scientist and still is. Neil has his own show cosmos and talks about his exploration in space. Unfortunately, his brother Mike Tyson was changed by the career of being a wrestler. He then quit his studies and now is a professional wrestler. Neil on the other hand became a astrophysicist. He was actually one of the scientists to claim that Pluto isn't a planet.

    There is no evidence to support these claims. Mike Tyson never went to Harvard.

    Mike was a boxer not wrestler and from what i can tell they are not brothers.

    Mike Tyson was a boxer not a wrestler. He never went to Harvard, in fact his fighting skill
    was discovered in a juvenile detention center (Tryon School for Boys in Johnstown) by Bobby Stewart a counselor there and former boxer. It was Bobby Stewart who introduced him to Cus D'Amato the boxing manager. Mike Tyson dropped out of high school as a junior, though he was later awarded an honorary doctorate in Human Letters from Central State University in 1989. Mike Tysons fathers name was Jimmy Kirkpatrick and his mothers name Lorana Smith. Neil deGrasse Tyson's parents are Cyril deGrasse Tyson and Sunchita Feliciano Tyson. So in short Mike Tyson and Neil deGrasse Tyson are not brothers in the literal sense of the word. As much as I love the show Mike Tyson Mysteries in this perticular incident Mike was just messing with us.

    Mike Tyson was a BOXER, not a wrestler, and he NEVER studied science and definitely didnt attend Harvard.

    Neil and Mike Tyson are not related even a little bit.
