Angel Beats! co-creator Jun Maeda had revealed a possible adaptation in November of 2010. After two years, Visual Art's President Takahiro Baba re-acknowledged the possibility of a game adaptation on Twitter, but stated that the project was not yet at the stage to be announced. The project was confirmed in 2013 and had been delayed multiple times since. Key announced in December that the game is now slated for May 29.
Maeda is credited as the game designer and scenario writer, and Leo Kashida and Kai are also credited as scenario writers. Na-Ga serves as the original character designer.
Truly something I would play! An amazing anime earns a great game! With all these delays, let's hope that it does not disappoint the fans! The pre-order rewards sound very tempting also. Fantastic! Would love to get my hands on one of the CD's.
