The drought in California is nomiated as the worst drought in history. A few days ago, Jerry Brown said,"Their is supposed to be snow where we are standing,'(KTVU). Due to the excepetional drought in California, EVERYBODY must cut 25% of water. That is a lot of water. As you can see in the picture below, anyone who lives in that dark red has to deal with the horrible drought. Due to the facts, farmers have to cut their water by 25% also. Crops are turning yellow as we speak. For those of you who don't like that plan, pray for the rain. From a article, it says,"So on Tuesday, California approved a measure that slaps "water wasters" with a $500 fine. That means that beginning in August, folks will (hopefully) be looking over their shoulders any time they engage in activities that drain precious H2O, such as hosing down driveways or having runoff from their yard sprinklers."(John MetClafe). The drought is that bad.
People today must realize that it we need more than a foot of water. Hopefully, we will have enough water one day, but for now, we have to deal what we have to deal with
