Tokyo Ghoul Review

By : Unknown

Tokyo Ghoul is an anime adapted from a fairly popular manga of the same name. The manga itself being a great series that deserved so much more than what this adaptation has given it. First, I want to mention that a lot of sites including MAL call it something like a suspense horror dark fantasy which misleads people into thinking the whole anime is supposed to be about stuff that’ll scare your pants off when that is not the case. Most of the horror is only in the first episode or chapter of the manga. There are some disturbing scenes and wacky characters but I wouldn't consider horror as one of the main themes.

Character Development - The characters themselves are charismatic, each character with a very different personality, liked that diversity profiles. The form that was crafted mental struggle of Kaneki was very interesting trajectory after it turned into a ghoul so strangely. I had a lot of faith that was one of the best of the season, but thought it was very accelerated the process, all very busy, which greatly hurt the story. I think a few more episodes would be important to better understand the organization that is hunting ghouls, understand gangs, districts, because we still got a little beat these issues. I have not seen the second season, I hope the story walk a little better ...

Creativity - The story is good, is the kind of story that should hold you back, has interesting fights. The idea of the anime itself is not there originally, so creative, history of vampires, monsters, those supernatural beings who need human flesh to survive. But the plot itself is good. The animation is also very cool, well-crafted, what caught my attention more than the story.

Soundtrack - I liked the choice of voice actors are very good, a plus point for the anime, like the interpretation of the characters. The OST found interesting, from the background music to the opening which I liked a lot and the ending too.

If you're currently watching the anime right now and enjoy it very much, don't be affected by my negativity because this is after all, just my own opinion and I am slightly biased since I love the manga. However, I would urge you to read the manga from chapter 1 if you're an anime only watcher, and if you haven’t started this anime yet, I’d recommend reading the manga instead or giving the first episode a try and then going to the manga if you want to get the most out of this series. I won’t say that I can guarantee that you’ll love the manga, but please do at least give it a try and I'd suggest reading up to around the 60s chapters before deciding for yourself whether you want to continue or not. Although, at first glance the art seems lacking, by the end of the manga you may be astounded by the improvement. And if you still decide to watch the anime first, I also wish you good luck. Do take note that both the manga and anime do end quite abruptly, but are each followed with a sequel. Thanks for reading one of the only reviews that I'll probably ever write and have fun reading/watching Tokyo Ghoul!

Is Neil deGrasse Tyson related to Mike Tyson?

By : JORELTV
Yes, they are actually related for some reason. Neil and Mike actually went to the same schools together. Before Mike Tyson became a wrestler, he actually was a scientist at Harvard University. Neil deGrasse Tyson also was an a amazing scientist and still is. Neil has his own show cosmos and talks about his exploration in space. Unfortunately, his brother Mike Tyson was changed by the career of being a wrestler. He then quit his studies and now is a professional wrestler. Neil on the other hand became a astrophysicist. He was actually one of the scientists to claim that Pluto isn't a planet.
